I approach Jack very simply, because he’s a simple-needs kind of guy. something that’s going to play 40 feet tall on a movie screen. If [creators] Dan Palladino or Amy Sherman-Palladino ever called me, of course. They were given a last serving of pie — why don’t we just leave it at that?
A lot of people, especially on social media, are saying, “Jack is perfect. I’m closing in on 40, but people are like, “You look like you’re 28, 29, 30.” I think at this point people are finally looking at me and saying, “Oh, you can be a father.” What kind of shows do you want to make as a producer? Human stories that have a quality about them that feels attainable. Several of your projects are on digital: “Chosen” for Crackle and “Relationship Status” for go90. I don’t see a difference between something that’s made for a mobile platform vs. Given the success of the revival of “Gilmore GIrls,” would you be willing to sign on for more episodes? But I do kind of feel like audiences shouldn’t get so greedy.
"It’s really mind-boggling all these theories that are popping up,” Moore adds. Yeah, there are twists and stuff…but it’s not a movie of the week, it’s not for the sake of shock value.
It's not that they think the theories are looney (thought some are), it's that they're surprised they exist at all.
Milo Ventimiglia makes America cry every Tuesday night as Jack, the seemingly perfect (and ill-fated) father of three on NBC’s breakout hit “This Is Us.” But acting’s just Ventimiglia’s day job: He’s also a prolific producer in his own right, with several series in the works, including Fox’s drama pilot “Kin.”This story first appeared in the January 31, 2017 issue of Variety. He’s a good person, and inspires people around him to be good.
Part of the success of “This Is Us” is in the audience relating to the characters. He loves his wife, he loves his kids, and will do anything for them. Do you have a theory on who the father of Rory’s baby is? Let me be real honest: When I worked on the show, that was my present but that’s 13 years in the rearview for me now so I don’t spend what little free time I have wondering about the baby of a past TV flame.
"I love that Jack thinks about the smaller moments as well as cares deeply about providing for his family and taking care of his family and being supportive." Proving he too is a hopeless romantic like his character, Ventimiglia adds that he's "big on revisiting first dates" when in a relationship. This news follows Milo's appearance at the 2017 Paleyfest with the rest of the This is US cast, who gathered at the Dolby Theatre for an audience Q&A earlier this month.Fans of the hit series were pleased to pick the cast's brain during the panel, especially after the show's tearjerker of a season finale. The timelines switch around as certain plot point progress, giving us a look into how the children's personalities are the product of their childhood. Fogelman has crafted haunting mysteries around one of the most painful — and mundane — parts of family life: death. The fervor to answer this question is up there with figuring out who shot J. That sharp combination has propelled the series to number 1 in its time slot for this season."He's such a special guy, it's really not hard to have to just love him," the 32-year-old actress said of Ventimiglia.
